Why Thai politics doesn’t work since the beginning and how each political group has formed themselves since 1973 up to now.

Thailand had been ruled by The absolute Monarchy system until the reign of King Rama VII
It was all for the Thai students that went to study abroad(mostly in France). Starting from King Rama V’s time, back then, Thailand didn’t have universities yet so the King grant scholarship for students to go abroad. The king was aware that these educated students knew better that the world was changing and we needed to change the system too as he received many letters from them. He tried to present a model of a democratic town but it didn’t work because most of the Thais weren’t educated enough or able to understand with such environment in the past, specially people in the rural.
It had been like that until the reign of King Rama VII
, after wars and everything. The King was claimed to be weak because of the country’s economy at the time. He stated in his personal journal that he never wanted to be a King who controls everyone but a King of a country of Freedom. He had presented the constitutional written by himself to the nobles for 2 times but wasn’t supported. In 1932, while the king was in London to cure his health problem, a group of the educateds, calling themselves ‘People’s party’, performed a bloodless coup against the absolute monarch and introduced Constitutional monarchy with parliamentary government.  The king didn’t get to come back to Thailand anymore. To make it sadder- after years past,he died alone in London.
After the coup, there came elections and more coups. Simply because the whole country didn’t truly understand the concept of Democracy. Laws and the constitution weren’t practical. Powerful people took advantages from the laws the made. People weren’t aware of how they’re being tricked and not treated as the laws state. Thailand needed its King because people feel that The king was the one who can unite the country for harmony despite the politic crisis. So King Rama VIII enthroned. But not long after that, he was assassinated. Thus, right in the same day, King Rama IX because there’s a saying ‘The King never dies’ meaning the country cannot let the throne be empty. No matter how the politic crisis went, the people feel safe because King Rama IX actually visit people in every provinces, focusing in the rural.
In April 29th 1973, during Prime minister Thanom Kittikachorn, really corrupt prime minister, the news announced that a helicopter crashed down in a legally preserved forest and lots of dead animals illegally chased were found. Thus, conservative students from 4 biggest universities of the country published a book called ‘secret journal of Toong Yai(the forest)’ revealing the government’s corruption and everything. But no one came out to pay responsibilities so 9 students of Ramkamhaeng University wrote a book called ‘No answer from the university’ to state that as proud students, they need to do something. Later the university cut out their names from the student list. They were kicked out. That was the beginning of the student protest at the Constitutional Monument on June 21st and 22th. The university finally had to put the names back to the list.
Thanom then felt unsafe and enforce crazy laws; none can criticize the government, all the press should be under the government, there is no more election, constitution is no more used and there can’t be any political group formed in anywhere of the country. This was not a clever move.
October 6th, 100 people of different types of careers signed their names to  call for the constitution and sent it to the government. They refer the call of constitution to King Rama VII who also supported it. 20 of them separate to spread the leaflet around Bangkok. 11 were caught and put in jail, accused of being communists going against the government which is considered a really bad action back then. Later 2 more people were caught. These 13 people were call constitutional rebels. (They were against the law that clearly stated that the constitution was false(?) by asking for the constitution.)
The whole country was upset, mostly the students because they were educated well enough to know that those 13 were actually call for democracy. They then gathered at Thammasart University, the university established by the leader of the People’s party, Preedee Panomyong. They stated themselves that the protest will go on until the government let go of the 13 constitutional rebels which must be done before noon of October 13th but the government refused to.
In the morning of October 13th, around 500,000 students and people set out of Thammasart marching to protest. Jing Rama IX was then worried and call the leaders of the students and The government to make peace until they all agree to end this conflict but there was something with the communication.
October 14th, there was possibly a bloodshed chaos starting in the very early morning between the unarmed students and the armed officials. People fighting in the university area, around the palace(Princess Sirinthorn let the students that were running away from guns in her palace.) and the main roads. There, in the afternoon, was even a helicopter hovering, firing at the students.
In the late evening, the official radio announced that President Thanom had finally resigned, thought, some of the protesters didn’t believe and went on until October 16th until The king asked all the people to stop. So everyone involved helped one another to clean the capital.
The event was remembered as the first time the whole country really called for their rights and the way students sacrificed their lives for the constitution.
(Thanom escaped out of the country.)
At that time, there were actually two groups of educated students. They shared the concept that they wanted no more absolute government, thus, all were against Thanom. One group longs for the real election but the other want to develop wealth distribution of the country believing that the election system is bad for rural dwellers because the only group of people that get the advantages are the powerful investors thus they should set up their own communist government that will provide equality. The Communist Government was secretly set up. In October 6th 1976, the soldiers took over the country committing dead penalty; firing, hanging and more, to all the people involved including the farmers. Those who managed to escape joined one another in the forest.
Since then the country has been in a civil-war-alike situation where people fight with people
One group are those who hate communist supported by powerful investors who need to stabilize their power and make sure that the country is not going to be communist. They encourage people to hate communist by spreading about how the communist will abolish the royal and the King.
The other group are people from mostly agricultural careers and some are the liberals who are actually encouraged( by the escaped communist students in the rural) to call for the right of poor people.
It is a kind of brain drain because all the students involved are those who’re talented. This event was more bloodshed than what happened in 1973 and caused the whole country a big shock. Later on, a new constitution was promulgated. General Prem Tinsulanonda assumed power and decided to excuse all the communist students that were still hiding with a deal that they should all stay in the capital(Bangkok), not to live and study in rural area, that way they don’t form with the farmers anymore. Those who broke the deal and went to the rural were actually put to sleep.
The communist way is not anymore practical. The group finally declined. Some of the rest communists, at the present, teach in famous universities of the country. Some believe that in order to fight back they also need to first cooperate with ‘a powerful investor’ too. Thus they can get to be voted, get positions government and later set the country to be communist.
In 2001, the communists finally found the ideal investor who offer to buy seats in the Parliament and the Gov for them. ‘The ideal investor’ then got voted to be a prime minister. All his policies really please the communist people who right then were in the gov. The policies actually pleased all the agricultural career people and every one in rural area. But the cooperation between the prime minister and the communist gov didn’t work out well because the communist found out that the prime minister was greedy and was buying people’s hearts in order to get all the policies flexible for his family’s company. This also upset those powerful investors in the opposite side( those against communist) too because they will lose their profits.
People in the country noticed that the prime minister is corrupt and started to dig deep about him and they’re also against the communist because they believe these people will abolish the royal. Now the communist have to really be in the prime minister side. The prime minister has some of the communist to be the leader to encourage poor people to support him(farmers have big influence in every election).
Now we’re fighting about different thing but against each other. One group  fights to preserve the institution(with the supporters supporting for their business growth) and the other group -poor people-  fights to be equal(supported by a corrupt and greedy businessman and prime minister)
When the opposite love the royal, then the communist started to hate the royal and find the royal selfish for being rich.
When it got too much, the military took over the country again(happened when the PM was abroad). The PM’s party was also abolished for being corrupt. The ex PM didn’t get to come into the country anymore until now but his family still rule all the business. The communist are still being paid to be active and support the new party they’ve set. The ex PM sister, actually a housewife, finally got to be a PM too. The ex PM and some farmers claim the the King is mean to its people. The ex PM is actually being Thai PM through skype, trying to get the world think that Thai people are not civilized for wanting monarchy more than democracy when actually these two things are never invovlved. It kind of upsets people when he relate the King and make the world think the King is not using his power right. Last year The PM(the sister of the ex PM) present the amnesty bill for the Senate. And the Senate passed the bill. The next process is that the king will have to sign it and the ex PM will get to come back. If the King doesn’t sign it then the whole world will think that the king is being greedy of power and that we’re not civilized. Also, even though the King doesn’t sign, in the next 100days the gov can bring the bill back and approve it by themselves. Some people are upset and that’s the beginning of the on going protest in BKK right now. When dig deeper, some farmers finally came out and tell the world that the gov take their rice without giving them any money. They’ve waited for almost a year already. So far 10 something farmers have committed suicide.  People gathered for more than a million but the PM just won’t go out. She has no answer for the lost rice stock(lost during transportation from a province to the other). Some farmers were fed with news that the gov didn’t have money to pay back because of the protest so they’re again the protesters in BKK(the protest has just been held for 4 months, it is actually confirmed by economists that the gov is lying.). Some people that stay still think that the protest was held by the ex PM’s opposite party to take advantage of the country so they don’t join(which is for some parts true I think)That’s pretty much everything. I really hope the whole world really understand what’s happening here.

Do the political benefits of the recently proposed amnesty bill outweigh the benefits to the Thai taxpayers?

Since having changed into Democracy, Thailand has been facing with lots of the political turmoil which has often happened regularly. One of the causes have involved with the stability of law fairness. Sometimes, law was claimed that unjust so that there were many following turmoil’s. Since 1932, the revolution year from Absolute Monarchy to the Democracy, were 32 amnesty acts for political benefits. However, this year, one of the hottest year for Thailand political moments, there are the protestors who disagree with the amnesty bill which is being created.

This amnesty bill is talking about that the law will wipe out the mistakes for the Political Offences during 2004-2013. For the side of supporters said that this is such a unity law which will bring the peace to Thailand but the reality didn’t. In the beginning of the voting for the bill in the parliament, some of the representatives hadn’t shown up in the meeting but there were their ballots appeared. This was the beginning of the unjust procedures which started from the first step in voting the representatives ‘agreements. Moreover, if we look inside to the contents, we will find the imply truth that showing the real requirements for some politicians who did the mistake and corrupted in the few past year ago. Those will get the real benefits from the bill. According to the leader of PDRC, the group of protestors, claimed that Thaksin Chinnawat, the old prime minister of Thailand, will get the most benefits from the bill. Nowadays, Thaksin has been escaping to overseas from the decision of the Supreme Court that judged him in jail because of his corruption and the violent policy that he used in the time of his government. So, if the bill passes, he will able to get back to Thailand innocently.

What are the benefits to Thai people? This question needs the answers from the politicians who agreed with the bill immediately. From the day that the bill passed in the first round until the day before the court had judged again, nobody could answer the real benefits clearly. The main tension was aimed to the Prime Minister, Yinglak Chinawat, who was the one who agree with the law. She is also claimed that she is just the proxy Prime Minister for her brother, Thaksin. She cannot be able to explain anything about this bill. Moreover, there are a large number of the protestors appeared sharply. So, The Constitution court had the final decision that the bill is against the law because it opposed the real aim of the law. The real aim is to make the unity of Thailand but in fact, it made more turmoil in Thailand. So, the amnesty bill was invalid.

Do the political benefits of the recently proposed amnesty bill outweigh the benefits to the Thai taxpayers? This question has already clear answer from the all reasons above. Having carefully examined the arguments for and arguments against, I find that the question “Do the political benefits of the recently proposed amnesty bill outweigh the benefits to the Thai taxpayers?” is not true. Thai taxpayers don’t even get any benefits from the bill. Furthermore, it made more disorders in Thailand.

What is Valentine’s Day , Why Valentine’s Day is a love day and Why people have to give a chocolate, flowers and love to their special Valentines ?

Each year on February 14th many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “Valentine”. The day of romance we call “Valentine’s Day”.Valentine’s Day is a love day and Valentine is a most awaited time for everybody. The history of Valentine’s Day is obscure, and further clouded by various fanciful legends. The holiday’s roots are in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, a fertility celebration commemorated annually on February 15. Pope Gelatinous I recast this pagan festival as a Christian feast day circa 496, declaring February 14 to be St. Valentine’s Day.

Which St. Valentine this early pope intended to honor remains a mystery: according to the Catholic Encyclopedia, there were at least three early Christian saints by that name. One was a priest in Rome, another a bishop in Terni, and of a third St. Valentine almost nothing is known except that he met his end in Africa. Rather astonishingly, all three Valentines were said to have been martyred on Feb. 14.

Most scholars believe that the St. Valentine of the holiday was a priest who attracted the disfavor of Roman emperor Claudius II around 270. At this stage, the factual ends and the mythic begins. According to one legend, Claudius II had prohibited marriage for young men, claiming that bachelors made better soldiers. Valentine continued to secretly perform marriage ceremonies but was eventually apprehended by the Romans and put to death. Another legend has it that Valentine, imprisoned by Claudius, fell in love with the daughter of his jailer. Before he was executed, he allegedly sent her a letter signed “from your Valentine.” Probably the most plausible story surrounding St. Valentine is one not focused on Eros (passionate love) but on agape (Christian love): he was martyred for refusing to renounce his religion.

In 1969, the Catholic Church revised its liturgical calendar, removing the feast days of saints whose historical origins were questionable. St. Valentine was one of the casualties.
Finally,In my opinion Valentine’s Day is a very nice day for everybody in this world such as a child give a chocolate love to his friends or her friends or her parents,Teenager give love to their lover and their parents.Father Mother give a love to their child.People in this world give a love to each other and this world will be a “Love world”.I want to see people in Thai loved each other because I think if everybody loved each other Thailand will get better than today.

How effective is the current Min of Finance’s Rice trade policy in protecting Isan farmers aged 45-60 years?

Some violences in BKK are from the problem with Thai farmers that the cause is rice pledging project. The rice pledging project was at the heart of the Pheu Thai Party’s populist platform that swept Yingluck Shinawatra to power in the 2011 general election. But it has left the country with record rice stockpiles and hundreds of billions of baht in losses at taxpayer cost while throwing farmers into debt after the caretaker government delayed making payments for pledged rice.

The Pheu Thai-led government had dreamed of using the rice subsidy to kill two birds with one stone. It could boost the income of farmers, who are strong supporters of the party, and gain leverage in the in the global market on the assumption that rice prices would soar once a large supply was withheld from the market. In October 2011, the Yingluck government launched the rice pledging scheme by buying  rice from farmers at 40-50% higher than what they could expect from selling to rice traders in the market. Millions of farmers eagerly lined up to pledge their paddy. The government, however, lost its bet that hoarding rice in massive stockpiles would drive up prices. The past few years have seen the global market flooded with rice, due to favorable weather and the subsidy attracting multitudes of farmers. Other countries took the opportunity to ramp up production, and Thailand relinquished its crown as top rice exporter to India and Vietnam.

Even though the pledging scheme has managed to increase farmer income, a side effect is that rice farmers across the country have run up debt on the expectation of a steady revenue stream. They bought new pickup trucks, motorcycles and smartphones through consumer financing. Unfortunately, Ms Yingluck dissolved the House last Dec 9 without a borrowing plan to pay farmers. Given her status as caretaker prime minister, her government faces legal limitations on new borrowing; this in turn has discouraged banks from extending bridge loans to pay farmers. Available funds have dried up, and state rice sales are unable to raise sufficient cash at a brisk pace.

The caretaker government is months behind in its payments to more than a million farmers, leaving them in a cash crunch and at the mercy of loan sharks. A-58-year-old farmer who has been protecting the Min of Finance said she has resorted to borrowing from an informal source that charges 6% in monthly interest, just to support her living. So now, she has so much of due.

armers have cried foul over Pheu Thai’s rice policies, the party recently bought advertising in local newspapers insisting that Ms Yingluck will continue to pursue the rice pledging scheme if she successfully retakes the helm. The announcement highlighted how the scheme had helped raise the income of millions of farm households. But it did not state the losses incurred from the subsidy

A Finance Ministry subcommittee tasked with the pledging project’s accounting said losses could reach 400 billion baht for the first two harvest seasons. Former finance minister and Bank of Thailand governor MR Pridiyathorn Devakula estimated at least 425 billion baht in losses. But this doesn’t make the farmers offensive because not everyone get the money but just someone get.

Please to be continue about this case that how end.

For a hard weekdays for working women, she has to use loads of energy to support her brain working. What will happen if one day she considered that she needs to loose her weight along with working harder and harder? Normally Eating fruits and vegetables provides health benefits, people who eat more vegetables and fruits as part of an overall healthy diet are likely to have a reduced risk of some chronic diseases. Vegetables provide nutrients vital for health and maintenance of your body.
On the other hand, our body need a common food groups, dairy, fruit, grain, meat, sweet, vegetable and the most important one is water. The fruit and vegetable diet will absolutely harm to your health if you don’t eat proteins e.g. meat. The proteins and other nutrients in meat are needed to help our bodies stay healthy. Most people do not eat enough fruits and vegetables and our bodies need other vitamins and nutrients to ensure good health. Raw fruit is always the best choice for the nutritional value. If you have to change the way the fruit is served, cooked, baked or steamed is best, as boiling lowers the nutritional value. Juice does count as fruit, but it does not contain as much fibre, so eating the fruit itself is better for you. Like fruits, vegetables are best eaten raw and they tend to have fewer calories than fruits. They also contain complex carbohydrates that our bodies do not convert as easily as sugar so you will feel full longer especially for the hard working women.
To lose weight properly, you need to eat several small meals a day to keep your metabolism working at its best all day. You cannot lose weight if your metabolism slows down because of hunger. Exercise is also needed to lose weight and maintain that weight loss. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to eat less food. You can create lower-calorie versions of some of your favourite dishes by substituting low-calorie fruits and vegetables in place of higher-calorie ingredients. The water and fiber in fruits and vegetables will add volume to your dishes, so you can eat the same amount of food with fewer calories. Most fruits and vegetables are naturally low in fat and calories and are filling.
However, good shape will come along with good health if you manage your diet in a safe and healthy way, don’t worry too much on eating just thinking of something like fruit as the first one when you feel hungry. Stop or try not to eat carbohydrate will be another good way. For the hardworking women you should make sure that you get enough nutrient a day or otherwise you will harm yourself in a long term problem.

What are the contributing factors to M1-M6 students at KNEP taking additional classes on tht weekends even considering the extra fees?

As usual, Thai students, from M.1-M.6, have a class at 8am until 4pm approximately. Each weekdays we spent most of our time in class study at least 8 period a day, each period takes 50 minutes. As the ASEAN education ranking, Thai education ranked in number 8 out of 10 ASEAN countries. Is that clearly explain that we are waking in the wrong direction. Are we really aim? for quality? or we aim for quantity?

Despite having two free days out of seven, Saturday and Sunday are not part of the weekend but rather another busy day spent furthering their children’s education for KNEP student’s families. Some family have to drop their children by at the extra class school at 7.30am and return them home at 4pm. How can this happen along with full time classes on weekdays?. According to the poll that i have randomly surveyed Thai student from M.1-M.6 at KNEP, there are three main points for this reason. The first point is, KNEP’s student feel like they doesn’t get enough knowledge and information from the teacher in class. Saying that 50 mines for each subject is quite too short tp learn something penetrably. The second point is KNEP’s student seems not to have enough concentration in class that contains at least 30 students, because of the noise and distraction from their friends. The last point is some student feels more comfortable with easy going teacher at extra class school. In my own experience some teacher goes too mean to student and make them scared to ask or answer questions in class.

On the other hand, apart from class reasons. By considering the extra fees for extra class, Why? parent and their children still pay that much money for it. In Thailand we value on the education, especially the university, so much. So it’s not the curious reason why nowadays parents willing to pay that much on extra class in order to make sure that they children get enough knowledge to do the test for university entrance examination. This fact does not separate the money status of the parent, it turns to a role that apart from the school fees they still have to pay additional for extra class as well. Mrs Nichapat, M.5 parent whose daughter is currently studying at KNEP, admitted the cost of extra tutoring was quite expensive – as much as 3,000 baht for a course. But she said the expense would be worthwhile if it helped launch her children on successful careers.

In contrast, finally, these things happen in pros and become the cons at the same time. Student gains a lot more knowledge for studying extra class but on the contrary less concentration in class and some group of student just go for fashion in studying extra class in weekdays. However, the ministry of education should solve this problem quickly or otherwise the normal weekdays school will turns to a playground.

Where will those penguins, living in the South Pole, live while the earth is getting warmer and the icebergs still melting?

Throw back in the past, a dinosaur lived and finally die because of the diversity of the nature. Every species on earth is adapted to exploit and cope with many factors that together determine where on Earth it can live. These factors including physical factors like temperature, rainfall, biological such as the threat of predation by another organism, infection by parasites, or combinations of physical and biological factors.

Any species that living in the South Polar Region has to feel comfortable with icebergs or have adaptations to deal with it. The ice-covered oceans around the continent, however, are similar with marine life.

The two species of penguin, The Adelie and Emperor penguin, that do not occur very far from ocean waters where the iceberg is present for at least quarter of the year. However, these penguins are force associates of iceberg, much like many songbirds are force associates of forests. Given that any iceberg is highly sensitive to changes in temperature, these two species are likely to be sensitive to global warming. The Adelie Penguin is probably unique among Earth’s animal inhabitants, not only do we know how it responds to changes in its present environment, but unlike most other creatures we also know how it has responded to habitat and environmental changes for at least the last 35,000 years. Unlike Adelies, on the other hand, we know relatively little about how the Emperor Penguin responds to changes in its environment because, the first reason the species breeds during the dark of winter and is thus very difficult to study, and the second they nest on iceberg that periodically melts or breaks up and thus usually they leave no trace of their existence from year-to-year, much less for thousands of years. Nevertheless, they are still highly sensitive to changes in iceberg conditions and offer us some lessons about how any species might respond to changes in climate.

Penguins, however, are sensitive to more than just physical aspects of their environment. Recent research has shown them to be exceedingly sensitive to prey availability as well. Since they are different from most other seabirds in that they can’t fly, they are unable to easily search increasingly larger areas looking for food should it become hard to find. They rely on food in predictable amounts and quality, in predictable places.

As temperatures of Earth continue to warm, finally all of Antarctica’s iceberg will be retreating. As we’ve seen, iceberg is at the core of factors that determine these species’ existence. Adelie and Emperor penguins will continue to live where the iceberg exists, and even colonize new locations along the coast where the iceberg becomes more open, and land glaciers retreat. Eventually, however, these penguins will disappear sequentially farther and farther south as the iceberg disappears, and as their prey disappears as humans overfish and alter the food web of the Southern Ocean. At the same time, sea level will be rising as the West Antarctic Iceberg melts. The rising sea level will cover low lying coast where the penguins otherwise would found colonies. Of course, if this occurs the streets of New York, London or Amsterdam and many other cities will be covered, too.

How will the flooding from Global Warming affect deer living in the jungle around Thailand in the next 20 years?

How will the flooding from Global Warming affect deer living in the jungle around Thailand in the next 20 years?

The Global Warming is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. As we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy or cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations, carbon accumulates and overloads our atmosphere. Certain waste management and agricultural practices aggravate the problem by releasing other potent global warming gases, such as methane and nitrous oxide.

During the past century Global temperatures rise more than 1 degree Celsius, in the past the Earth could get it balance. But the growth of industry increase the waste gas. By the 21st century is the common temperature of 6 degrees Celsius, leading to the occurrence of storms and turbulence of nature. Polar ice melt Affect sea levels more and more.
It will affect the production of food from nature, water in the summer is gone. The earthquake and the tsunami will be more. Volcanoes explode often and more rain until flooding in the high hand.

When the Earth get warming until the next 20 years, the ice in the North Pole and South Pole will melt into the ocean. The water will flood all of the land part and also in Thailand. The flooding from the Global warming will destroy the living zones around Thailand and also in the jungle. Many animals will die and some have to migrate.

The Deer which have very few in the jungle of Thailand will be extinct because the deer are sensitive to the flooding and can’t migrate so fast. Some of them which survive from the flooding are also have no living place and no food that is hard to survive. Sometimes they will be hunted by the tigers. So the End of them have only the extinction.
